Colorado Safe Storage Law

Two firearms with security locks and a gun safety brochure nearby.

This law, passed in 2021, requires gun owners to store firearms in locking devices out of the reach of children or prohibited persons.  Safe storage saves lives and reduces accidental shootings among children.  The Town of Dinosaur has these trigger locks available to any local household with children.
